A large group of these cute little Bushtits flitted from tree to tree during John's late-afternoon walk along the trail at Batiquitos Lagoon. Though this one lacked the brownish crown that so many of its fellows sported, Beth's friend Adam helped verify its identity in differentiating it from species like the California Gnatcatcher.
